I'm a Celebrity fans 'switch off' before giving show chance to start due to timing

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here lost viewers before it even started this evening.

The much anticipated ITV show returned to the Australian jungle tonight for the first time in two years. And while millions have been eager to watch it for weeks now, some were disappointed when they realised what time it was on and "switched off" before giving the show a change to begin.

I'm a Celeb started at 9pm tonight, on Sunday, November 6. It had a runtime of an hour and 45 minutes, meaning that it wouldn't come to an end until 10.45pm.

With that in mind, and with it being a Sunday night, many viewers made the decision not to watch. Some couldn't believe how "late" it was on for a "school night".

Twitter was flooded with comments airing the same thoughts. Joshua said: "This is the first year where I’m not even watching the premiere. A 10:45pm finish on a school night, it’s a no from me. #ImACeleb."

Chris said: "#ImACeleb finishes at 10:45! I’m getting old. Not sure if I’m going to do this."

Michael said: "It’s definitely a sign I’m getting old when I see that I’m A Celebrity is on until 10:45 tonight and I say out loud 'b******* that’s late, there’s no way I’ll be staying up until that time' #ImACeleb."
