I'm A Celebrity...South Africa viewers have slammed the format of the All Stars series as 'rubbish' after the latest star was forced to leave the jungle.
The new series has seen former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! icons including Joe Swash, Janice Dickinson, Carol Vorderman, and Shaun Ryder just to name a few return to the ITV programme for an All Stars cast - but viewers are less than impressed with the format of the spin-off series.
Unlike the format of the original show, the South Africa version of the competition sees two celebrities leave each night – but instead of viewers voting for the eliminations, it's all being decided by how the Bushtucker Trials unfold.
Earlier this week, viewers were disappointed when I'm A Celebrity legends Georgia Toffolo and Andy Whyment were forced to say goodbye to their campmates after losing a trial to Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo.
And during Tuesday's instalment of the ITV series, viewers were left fuming when Joe Swash was sent packing.
Former EastEnders star Joe, 38, joined the series late alongside fellow soap star Dean Gaffney, with his time in the jungle being cut even shorter after he lost out during a Bushtucker Trial.
Joe has arguably been the star of the series, with him bringing his infectious positive vibes and energy to camp - so viewers were left incredibly disappointed when the TV star was sent packing.
Taking to Twitter to slam the format of the spin-off series, I'm A Celebrity fans didn't hold back as they threatened to switch off.
“Zero input from viewers, contestants being kicked out before others join, or leaving in pairs when individually they should still be in. What’s the point in this series," one complained.
"Joe Swash being sent home should be a crime. All the boring people are left because they're not doing trials. This is such a s**t concept," another echoed.
Someone else voiced: "The show’s already been ruined with the s***ty format."
While another said: "Absolute rubbish. I won't be watching this series anymore. Joe was the only good thing about it."
"I'm A Celebrity bosses should stick to what they know cause this series is horse s**t," someone else complained.
The Mirror has reached out to an ITV spokesperson for comment.
I’m a Celebrity... South Africa airs nightly on ITV at 9pm.
