I'm A Celebrity fans defend Helen Flanagan after Toff's 'savage' words to the Coronation Street star

I’m A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left surprised by Helen Flanagan as she stepped up for the show's highest ever challenge. Back in 2012 the Coronation Street star had a hard time in camp as she took part in the 12th series of the ITV show, now, she has left fans shocked with her first ever challenge in South Africa.

The Rosie Webster actress took part in the Newton’s Cradle challenge which saw her leap across giant balls in the air. Full of nerves, she reassured herself whilst she was suspended in the air, she said: "You are safe. You are calm, you can do this. Wait for the wind to calm down and jump.”

As Manchester Evening News reports, Helen ended up taking part in seven bushtucker trials in a row,in the 12th series, as the general public kept voting for her. However, she has come back stronger as a part of the new series as Ant McPartlin asked: "What's happened? What's changed?"

The 32-year-old faced the highest challenge yet in the ‘World’s End’. She was challenged to climb a tower suspended over the edge of a mountain 1,100 metres high, however viewers were surprised when Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo said something ‘savage’ to her.

Toff, who won the show in 2017, told Helen: "You’ve got to do better this time. Sorry to be savage, but you have to."

Helen did the challenge alongside Amir Khan and Myleen Klass, when asked about how she was feeling she said: "I am really scared but guys but I’m not going to let you down, I’m going to do it.” And the mum-of-three triumphed again, bringing back the full set of 11 possible stars to feed the camp with her campmates.

@zBxDoctor said: "Not Toff just telling Helen to do better." @JenSmith_x tweeted: "‘You have to do better!’ Alright Toff chill out babe." And @upsteadkidd asked: "Why is Toff saying that to Helen??"

@hollycarruthers said: "Toff saying Helen needs to be better." And @Shannon_xoxo added: "''No offence but you have to do better.' Helen is actually trying this time round. If she doesn't do well but puts the effort in then that's all anyone can ask!"

When they returned to camp Toff was delighted to hear how well they had done and said proudly: "I could have cried when I saw Helen's face." @teenamassam tweeted: "Toff feeling proud of Helen, cute…"
