I'm A Celebrity fans all have the same complaint as stars take on first Bushtucker trial

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here fans aired their frustrations at the first proper Bushtucker trial of the new series.

The four VIP celebrities – Boy George, Olivia Attwood, Chris Moyles and Scarlette Douglas – took on the first proper trial of the series, as they were joined by hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly at the clearing. As part of the trial, titled HMS Drown Under, the four stars had to work together to locate some taps which would help fill a water pipe.

It sounded simple enough but, of course, it is an I'm A Celebrity Bushtucker trial and so there were some creatures joining them in there, as the stars seemed rather terrified by the whole prospect.

Revealing what would happen, Ant shared: "As you know, in order to leave this island and head into camp you have to take part in the first Bushtucker Trial. In order to feed yourselves and your fellow campmates tonight."

Dec added: "This is HMS Drown Under. Two of you have to work together to locate the taps which are situated inside these hell holes. You’ll both need to turn the taps to fill up the water pipe. Every time the water reaches a number it will release a star into the two torpedo tubes which are behind you here, where the other two celebrities will be locked in."

However, Ant quickly confirmed they wouldn't be alone, as he warned: "There’ll be a few surprises along the way."

Olivia and Scarlette opted to do the hell holes, whilst Boy George and Chris were locked inside the torpedoes. "Declan, I’ve changed my mind, I want to do Love Island," Chris joked as the the trial began.

Olivia and Scarlette were confronted by the likes of bearded dragons and a carpet python as they put their hands in the hell roles, all whilst the water rose in the torpedo. Noting the change, Chris said: "Oh my god, it’s getting a bit high!"

The four celebrities were able to get eight of the 10 stars - but fans took to social media to share their frustration over the first trial.

"the unnecessary screaming give it a rest please #ImACeleb," one fan wrote, as another added: "Scarlette needs to stop screaming at every single thing she touches #ImACeleb."

A third shared: "stop screaming and get your hand in #ImACeleb," with a fourth writing: "What kind of task is this?! The boys are just laying in clear water catching stars, where’s the creatures at?! #imaceleb."
