I'm A Celebrity fans accuse ITV of 'faking' Babatúndé's trial after spotting 'clue'

I'm A Celebrity fans have accused ITV of 'faking' Babatúndé's Aléshé's Horrifying Heights trial.

The dramatic challenge saw the actor, 36, hoist 100ft into the air as he tried to collect stars for camp - while battling a torrential downpour.

Baba smashed the trial, but some fans wondered why the rain had stopped when the star finished the challenge - as well as pointing out the rest of the camp was dry.

One fan tweeted: "I think they faked on rain because it stopped the minute he jumped, and he arrived to camp soaking while everyone and everything was dry."

Another said: "The rain conveniently stopping when the trial finished."

While a third mused: "Isn’t it funny how the rain stopped as soon as he comes down."

When contacted by the Mirror, a show source said: "To suggest we created fake weather for a trial is absolutely ridiculous."

Baba was the first celeb picked to do the Bushtucker Trial after failing to conquer his fear of heights during the opening show.

Teamed up with Charlene White and Jill Scott for The Ledge challenge 32 storeys up, the actor had tears in his eyes before becoming one of the quickest celebs in the show's history to quit the challenge.

Looking down at the drop, Baba said nervously: “It’s windy, that’s contributing to the water in my eyes…”

Charlene was up first and waited for the stand-up star to join her.

However, after telling himself, “Just go! Just go!”, Baba instead blurted out: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”

But just two days later, the comedian redeemed himself in style by winning maximum stars in Horrifying Heights.

As heavy rain whipped up a storm, the star said “Come on bro, you can do this" as he made his way high into the sky to collect the stars.

Making his way to the top level, with just 10 seconds to go, Baba leapt off the ledge - winning maximum grub for camp.

Afterwards, he told hosts Ant and Dec: “I kept saying to myself, ‘You are crazy, how am I doing this right now?’ That’s all I kept thinking, ‘How am I doing this?’

Viewers were full of praise for Baba's effort, with one saying on Twitter : "I take my hat of to Babatunde. I could not have done that. HATE heights.."
