I'm a Celebrity contestant Olivia Attwood wondered if she was pregnant in health scare

Olivia Attwood, who dramatically left I’m a Celebrity after a health issue, has revealed she wondered if she was pregnant. Speaking on This Morning, the reality star who appeared in Love Island said tests had shown that her iron levels were low.

She told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she had been taken for medical checks - and given blood tests, the Daily Record reported. "It’s not that exciting I can promise you that. The results came back that my iron was low...I was showing that I was anaemic and basically all the markers you can look for were low.

"They consulted with a doctor outside of camp and they said I would need to go to A&E. They re-ran the tests and their checks came back normal!”

On the way to A&E, Olivia felt perfectly fine and not ill at all, which worried her and she began to wonder if she was ill or pregnant. She said: “It felt like forever because then I was thinking ‘God, am I pregnant?’, or ‘have I picked up a virus?’ and also I felt well, there was nothing and I felt healthy so I was even more confused. It was all really strange."

At the time ITV said: “As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks. Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she’ll be very much missed on the show.”

The 31-year-old addressed the rumours that were circulating online that she left the jungle because she was pregnant. She said: “There were loads swirling around on the internet, 'Olivia Attwood pregnant' was trending on Twitter - it’s not that I can assure you."

Phil then asked her why she decided to fly home straight away. She said after 12 days of isolation and the first few days of filming, it meant she was already away from the UK almost three weeks by that point and she just wanted to go home.

Schofield then asked "why she came back" as I’m A Celeb offered her the chance to "stay for a few more days," but Olivia decided against it. “You do that lockdown before, it’s almost two weeks, no phone.

"Then the first episode is filmed over a couple of days. I think for the public, it’s like: ‘She’s only been there a day,’ actually I’d been away from home nearly three weeks at that point.” As soon as Olivia found out that "going back in was not an option", she packed her bags and set off back home.

Holly then asked her who she thought was going to win the series. Attwood explained that she “likes Jill,” “Chris made her laugh a lot" although she wondered whether “he was for everyone” but decided that Charlene could also take the crown.
