I'm A Celebrity confirmed line-up: Chris Moyles and Sue Cleaver lead arrivals in Australia

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans won't have to wait much longer to get their fix of the show – as Ant and Dec are returning to the Australian jungle with a host of new stars at the beginning of November.

An air date for the new series has been confirmed by ITV bosses as November 6, with a 105 minute special launching the new series.

And this year's celebrities braced to face the grizzly jungle have already begun landing at Brisbane airport this year to quarantine ahead of their time in the jungle.

The stars are landing earlier than usual as ITV bosses don't want to take any chances with Covid-19 this year, as a show source explained: "The Celebs normally arrive over a four or five day period and some come in just a day or two before filming and are still a bit jet lagged in camp.

"But there is none of that happening this year, everyone will be here a week before they get into camp and some are coming out 10 days before.

"They will be staying in nice places so it won't be like a prison cell but they won't want them mixing with people. Once they are out of the airport the idea is to keep them alone as much as possible to minimise any risk of them having to quit the show."

Here we take a look at who has already touched down in Australia's Brisbane Airport ahead of the gruelling ITV show...

Babatunde Aleshe

The Gogglebox star cut a casual figure in dark sunglasses as he became the sixth person to land in Australia and confirm themselves to be appearing on the ITV show.

The 36-year-old was initially coy about whether he was in Australia to take part but eventually said: "I am here to have a good time you know what I mean.

"I am not a camper, I am not going to lie, not at all. Where I am staying I am alright for spiders and snakes, well I should be OK, I hope so!"

Bosses were reportedly said to be "really excited" to get Babatunde involved after becoming impressed by his amusing one-liners while appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox with his pal Mo Gilligan.

Other comedians like Joel Dommett have used the jungle as a springboard to boost their careers for more high profile TV work.

Asked if presenting was his ultimate goal like Joel, he said: "I am inspired but him and I would love to have a career like Joels. But just watching him I am inspired. I don't look at it as something to inspire to do, but I am a big fan of him and me and him, we talk, we are good friends."

Charlene White

Loose Women star Charlene White arrived in Australia on Thursday, and admitted she had never pictured herself doing I'm A Celeb as she's not a fan of insects or camping.

Charlene, 42, is best known for presenting ITV News programme and she has also been an anchor on Loose Women since 2021.

She said upon arriving in Oz: "I don't really like creepy crawlies so I don't imagine it was a show I would ever do to be honest. And I am not particularly outdoorsy so I don't know how that would work.

"I don't camp, I stopped going to girl guides because they kept making me camp so I definitely don't camp."

"I think if I was ever to do a show such as Im A Celebrity the issues will mainly be the outdoors, I don't do bugs, I don't do spiders, I don't do any of those things. So why would I sign up?!

"There are several facets to me so perhaps I would surprise people. Who knows? Maybe you will see a different side."

Charlene said while away she would miss her family and her Loose Women colleagues.

Jill Scott

Lioness midfielder Jill Scott touched down at Brisbane Airport on Thursday and seemed unnerved by the creepy crawlies awaiting her in the jungle.

When she was asked what would be more nerve-wracking – the Euros final or the jungle – she said: "That is a very good question but I don't think anything will test my nerves as much as that final.

"I have never really been confronted by snakes and spiders in England so I don't know how I will react to them, apart from a spider in the bath every now and then."

The footballer, 35, retired from England's national team earlier this year and has now set her sights on a new challenge.

She took a step back from football shortly after the Lionesses beat Germany in the UEFA Women's European Championship in July – finally bringing football home.

Owen Warner

Hollyoaks hunk Owen, 23, has wasted no time in making his intentions clear for his stint in the jungle.

As the soap actor, who has played Romeo Nightingale since 2018, was snapped landing at Brisbane Airport on Wednesday October 26 and said he was open to having a jungle romance.

He said: "My mum is the one who is going to be the one missing me. I am single and ready for the jungle. I am always looking for romance but I am not going in especially for that.

"I will miss football and family most."

Owen previously dated former Hollyoaks co-star Stephanie Davis, who played Sinead Shelby on the soap, before they split in 2019.

However, Owen might struggle to play it cool in front of any potential love interest as he admitted there are multiple things he's afraid of in the jungle.

The actor confessed: "I'm scared of all sorts of things to be fair. Snakes aren't a bit of me, I don't know why I have come to Australia! Snakes and spiders everywhere here.

"I don't mind a bit of camping. When the weather is nice camping is great but when it is raining and cold it is not so cold."

Sue Cleaver

Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver has swapped the cobbles for a stint in the Aussie jungle – following in the footsteps of a string of past and present cast mates who have done the show including Andy Whyment, Simon Gregson and Helen Flanagan.

Shortly after welcoming her grandson, Sue hopped on a plane Down Under but kept tight-lipped on the reason for her visit.

The actress, who has played Eileen Grimshaw since 2000, simply said, "I love visiting Australia," before getting into a waiting car and declining to answer further questions about the show.

Sue was certainly dressed for the jungle as she wore a leopard print top with black trousers and a black open shirt over the tee. She accessories with a cap, which also adorned the animal print on as she made her way through arrivals.

Olivia Attwood

Olivia Attwood's jungle appearance is a special one as she is the first Love Islander to set foot in both the Majorcan villa and I'm A Celeb camp.

The glam reality star, 31, became the first female star to be confirmed for the series as she made her way through the airport on Tuesday morning.

Despite her usual confident demeanour Olivia, who is engaged to fiancé Bradley Dack, shared her concerns over how the rest of the camp might react to her.

She said: "I am scared of me, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow, the usual.

"I haven't packed very many bikinis, we are not allowed very many."

Chris Moyles

Ant and Dec had urged for Radio DJ Chris, 48, to take part in I'm A Celeb over a decade ago. After years of waiting the pair are set to finally have their wish come true,

Chris was the first star to reach Australian soil this year as he landed at Brisbane Airport on Tuesday morning.

The DJ appeared to be determined not to share his fears as he was quizzed shortly after landing.

He said: "There's lots of everything in this country, like sport and beer and I am not scared of sport of beer. So I think I will be alright."

However, on his Radio X breakfast show Chris previously admitted to former I'm A Celeb star Vernon Kay that he was terrified of heights.

"I papped myself and I realised I’m more scared of heights than I actually genuinely thought I was," he said.
