I'm A Celebrity 2022 start date revealed as Ant and Dec return to Australia

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here's start date has been revealed as the show will return to Australia for the first time in two years.

Ant and Dec will be back hosting the popular ITV show with the pair to be joined in the jungle by a host of new celebrities taking on tough challenges.

Last year's series was broadcasted from Gwrych Castle in north Wales - with the weather in the UK causing havoc - as Emmerdale actor Danny Miller was crowned the winner. As Ant and Dec prepare to return Down Under, it has now been revealed when the show is making its hotly anticipated return in less than a few weeks time.

The Sun reports that the ITV show will be back on our screens on Sunday November 6, slightly earlier than usual due to the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The football will kick off on November 21 – the exact date I'm A Celeb premiered last year – and will run until December 18.

"The last thing anyone wants is for viewers to have to choose between the latest from the jungle and a big game. At the moment nothing has been confirmed – but whatever ITV do will be in the best interests of viewers," a source said previously of the decision.

A spokesperson for ITV said: "We'll announce the start date for the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in due course."

With the show a matter of days away, rumours have been swirling about who might be heading to the jungle. Chris Moyles is one of the famous faces set to head onto the show, The Mirror exclusively revealed.

Back in 2012, Ant and Dec said they wanted to see him as a campmate, with Dec sharing: "He would be really funny, he’d probably win. And he’s lost so much weight, even the lack of food wouldn’t bother him."

Ant added: "The thing is eventually they all say yes. We just wear them down."

Other names also thrown into the mix including Mike Tindall, Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver as well as Loose Women star Charlene White.

Ant and Dec had previously said how thrilled they are to be returning to their "spiritual home" of Australia.
