I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is set to return to Irish TV within days, with the new series kicking off on Virgin Media One this Sunday at 9pm.

Ten star contestants have been announced and are currently quarantining in luxury villas before heading into the Australian jungle.

The hit reality show returns to Oz for the first time since 2019, with Ant and Dec back to present it.

The famous faces taking part in the 2022 series are Chris Moyles, Olivia Attwood, Sue Cleaver, Owen Warner, Jill Scott, Charlene White, Babatunde Aléshé, Mike Tindall, Scalette Douglas, Boy George and, controversially, MP Matt Hancock, who was Britain's Health Secretary during the height of the Covid pandemic.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of I’m A Celeb making its highly anticipated return to Irish screens.

Start date

The series begins this Sunday, November 6, at 9pm on Virgin Media One.

Episodes will air nightly at 9pm, with Ant and Dec presenting live from Australia and giving a round-up of the previous day's events, before entering the camp live at the end of episodes once the evictions start to tell campmates who is up for the public vote.

How to watch in Ireland

The nightly episodes will air on Virgin Media One at 9pm, as well as the Virgin Media Player.

A spokesperson for the channel announced: “’I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to your screens once again from Australia on Virgin Media One.

“Ant & Dec return to host the show LIVE from Australia with a whole new batch celebrities waiting to take on the bush tucker trials and ultimately be crowned the King or Queen of The Jungle.

“Watch ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ from Sunday 6th November on Virgin Media One.”

Full line-up

The 10 celebrities entering camp from day one have been confirmed as singer Boy George, rugby player Mike Tindall, Loose Women's Charlene White, radio DJ Chris Moyles, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver, Love Island's Olivia Attwood, comedian Babatunde Aléshé, Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner, TV presenter Scarlette Douglas, and England footballer Jill Scott.
