I'm A Celebrity 2022 first eviction confirmed by Ant and Dec

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! may feel like it only just started, but the first eviction of the 2022 series is officially upon us. Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have confirmed that one campmate will be booted out of the jungle during the episode that airs on Friday, November 18.

Hosts Ant and Dec confirmed the news at the end of Thursday night's show, with campmates left in the dark as to what's coming their way. The announcement means the final is now likely just one week away.

Speaking before the credits rolled and while the celebrities were still out of ear shot, Dec said: "Right, the big news is that tomorrow night, one of them will be heading for home. So, for the first time this series, you're voting to keep your favourites in the camp."

He added: "The person with the fewest votes will leave tomorrow and that vote is now open!" Following the shock exit of Love Island's Olivia Attwood on day one, there are currently 11 celebrities in camp.

They are Boy George, Loose Women's Charlene White, former footballer Jill Scott, comedian Babatúndé Aléshé, actor Owen Warner, Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver, former rugby player and royal family member Mike Tindall, radio DJ Chris Moyles, presenter Scarlette Douglas, comedian Seanna Walsh and Matt Hancock MP.

I'm A Celebrity's Ant and Dec (ITV)

I'm A Celebrity 2022 started on Sunday, November 6 and has so far seen lots of drama, much of which has been centered around the controversial arrival of the former health secretary Matt Hancock. His decision to join the series caused an uproar both on and off the screen, with Boy George even considering leaving camp following the politician's late arrival.
