I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is just around the corner. The 2022 series starts on ITV at 9pm on Sunday, November 6 and this year's contestants are preparing to head into the jungle as the show returns to Australia for the first time in two years.
And ahead of the start date, the campmates have been spotted meeting presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly before being whisked away for their first terrifying trial. New pictures have shown comedian Babatunde Aléshé, Lioness Jill Scott and Loose Women presenter Charlene White taking on the revamped Ledge Challenge, previously named Walk the Plank.
As is tradition, the first trial usually sees the stars face their fear of heights before heading to camp. However, as the contestants prepared to take on the challenge, which is 32 storeys up, one star of this year's series may have uttered the words "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!" after appearing to pull out of the task.

It's been reported that after being told the rules, Babatunde, Jill and Charlene had to wait 45 minutes, possibly as Babatunde had second thoughts. The trio were spotted high on top of the Focus building, but while Jill and Charlene walked the plank and were seen suspended over the tower, Babatunde didn't appear to finish the terrifying task.
According to The Mirror, Babatunde could be seen shuffling along his plank and then stopping and going back to the roof. The comedian was also seen in dramatic photos with his head in his hands.
An onlooker told the publication: "Babatunde looked nervous before the challenge began and he never got going. He shuffled and stopped and left Charlene out on her ledge for several minutes. After that Jill wasted no time and got straight out to join her."
The terrifying challenge is set to air during the first episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 and will see all the campmates meet for the first time. You can see the line-up in full here. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
