I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is back in the brand new setting of South Africa. The new spin-off series, which sees campmates from years go by return, kicked off on Monday, April 24 on ITV and ITVX.
The launch episode saw nine celebrities make their I'm A Celeb comeback, including Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder, supermodel Janice Dickinson, former royal butler Paul Burrell and Countdown star Carol Vordeman. You can see a full line-up of the contestants and which series they starred in here.
ITV bosses had teased the return of many other campmates, however, and the debut episode saw Gillian McKeith become the first latecomer of the new series. Fans of I'm A Celeb will remember the now infamous 2010 moment when Gillian fainted after being nominated for her seventh consecutive bushtucker trial, requiring an on-site medic to step in.

She was also known for her gaffes and fiery confrontations and clashed many times with Shaun during their Australian jungle stint 12 years ago, read about Gillian's previous appearance, here. On Monday's episode Gillian surprised the campmates as she jumped out of a box in camp and now a first look has shown the Happy Mondays star is less than impressed by her return.
In scenes set to air on Tuesday, April 25, Shaun tells the Bush Telegraph: "Gillian came out of a box. I was very surprised. I probably could have done without it being Gillian, yeah."
While Gillian adds: "How do I feel about Shaun Ryder being here? I said hello, he said hello, it was all very cordial. What can I say?"
In camp, Paul asks Shaun about his last experience of being in camp with her: "Is she as mad as a box of frogs?" Shaun replies: "Yeah… I nearly killed her."
Back in the Bush Telegraph, Shaun says: "I've been trying to be nice to her. I’m a different person, whatever. I don’t think Gillian was pleased to see me."
Later, the pair are forced together to take on the first Chest Challenge of the series, Lost Connection, in a bid to win a treat for camp.
Gillian admits: "I have no idea how Shaun and I are going to get along." As they leave Janice says: "That could be World War 3!"
Helen says: "Hopefully they’ll bring back a treat… I think the camp would love that." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
