I'm A Celeb's Seann Walsh reflects on Edinburgh visit which was 'worst night of his life'

Comedian Seann Walsh revealed that he experienced the 'worst time of his life' while visiting Edinburgh.

The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here star explained that the time he spend in the Scottish capital following his Strictly Come Dancing kissing scandal was the most difficult of his life so far. The 36-year-old found himself in the centre of a media storm while taking part in the 2018 series after being pictured with his dance partner Katya Jones while she was married, with Seann also in a long term relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries at the time.

And following the drama, the comedian fearer his career was over after performing to a near empty theatre in Edinburgh.

He told his campmates Owen Warner and fellow comedian Babatúndé Aléshé: "We get to Edinburgh, right, I think it's a 200-seater, I've never not in Edinburgh sold out the first night.

'It doesn't even occur to me that it's not sold out. Just before I'm about to go on, my agent comes in and goes, ''Just so you know, there's like 30 people.'

"To get told that when you're just about to go on… horrific. It was at that point I was like, ''Oh, oh..'."

"My career was dead, I was over", he added. "My agent said, ''There's nothing I can do. I'm sorry, I've tried. I've tried everything'. "

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph later in the show, Seann added: "There are the highs in comedy but there are the lows. It's not been an easy ride".
