I'm A Celeb's Scarlette Douglas to replace GMB star in major shake-up for ITV show

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Scarlette Douglas is set to take over from Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold during this festive period.

The star, who came 10th place in the Australian jungle series, will be presenting for the GMB star on the morning show over the Christmas break.

She's already had her hand in presenting for the Channel 4 show, A Place In The Sun, and has appeared in many talk shows.

"I probably shouldn't have told you just yet in case they decide they don't want me anymore," she revealed the news on her Instagram page.

"But yes, I am going to be covering for the legend that is Richard Arnold on GMB, the Entertainment section, Good Morning Britain.

"I'm actually going to be covering over the festive period. Mind Blown!"

She added: "This past week, in fact, since I've got back from the jungle things have been mental.

"So I have my own segment on Lorraine now, I'm covering over Christmas for Richard Arnold on GMB, I'm going to have my own radio show on Heart for Christmas Eve.

"I'm going to be on Soccer AM! Oh my goodness there is so much happening!"

Meanwhile, the presenter was recently asked about her career and if she would like to branch out.

She has a background in singing and would like to explore it professionally in the future.

The star also writes her own music and used to spend a lot of time dancing

"I’d like to. As long as people would take me seriously, I’d make sure I made good music. I’ve come from a musical background and I’ve always sung and danced. Maybe I’ll release an EP," she explained.

"I used to write a lot of music and I don’t write as much now but I’d like to get back into the swing of it."

"I love entertainment, singing and dancing. As much as I love property development, I’d love to do more entertainment shows," she told The Sun.

Scarlette enjoyed a 16-day stint on I'm A Celeb, leaving two days after Charlene White.

It was a shocking series this year as disgraced MP Matt Hancock came in third place and Hollyoaks star Owen Warner came in second. The one and only Jill Scott came out victorious in first place.
