I'm A Celeb's Paul Burrell devastated as show crew member 'loses his £10,000 wedding ring'

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star Paul Burrell was left heartbroken after a crew member reportedly lost his £10,000 wedding ring.

The former royal butler has been filming the All Stars series in South Africa's Kruger National Park.

He was reportedly told to take off his wedding ring before taking part in one of the Bushtucker Trials.

It was handed to a member of the production team to be looked after but, it was soon lost, according to reports.

It was reported that the team spent hours trying to find the ring but couldn't locate the pricey jewellery.

A source claimed: “Paul was told off-camera and was left heartbroken. Production had a team deployed to search the area high and low where the ring had been.

“They searched for hours on end but had to give up after it failed to surface."

"It was thought the ring had been put in the production office for safekeeping but was nowhere to be seen," they added.

The source told The Sun said Paul was "worried" about offending his husband, Graham Cooper – whom he wed in 2017.

It was claimed that the team member who lost the ring cried and went home as they felt like he "had let Paul down".

Mirror have contacted ITV's I'm A Celeb for comment.

Paul was previously married to Maria Cosgrove, who he met while working in Buckingham Palace. The former couple share two children; Alex and Nick together.

Speaking in 2016, Paul told the Sunday Mirror: “I still love my wife. Marrying her was the best thing in my life, and to witness the boys being born – nothing compares. It’s sad when people part, but it happens a lot.”

In 2017, the couple divorced and he went on to tie the knot with Graham Cooper, a corporate lawyer.

Meanwhile, Paul first appeared on I'm A Celeb in 2004 before returning this year for the All Stars series.

Speaking about his latest stint before entering the jungle, he said: ”It is going to be different because I am a different person now. I was a married guy with two kids and now 19 years on, I am a married man again but this time around, I have a husband.

”I have many more things to talk about in South Africa. I want to be there for all the dads who are struggling with their sexuality.”
