I'm A Celeb's Matt Hancock slips on bridge before belting out Ed Sheeran as he arrives in camp

Viewers were in hysterics as I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! aired Matt Hancock's entrance into the jungle on Wednesday, November 9. The former Health Secretary, 44, was joined by comedian Seann Walsh as latecomers to the ITV series.

Clumsy Matt hadn't even set foot in camp before he'd slipped on the bridge as him and Seann made their way to 'Mole Headquarters'. Arriving in an empty camp, the pair then proceeded to get to know each other.

A conversation between the pair saw Matt ask Seann what his tattoo meant, with Seann explaining that it’s a nod to his favourite band Blink-182. Asked who his favourite band is, Matt said: “Quite mainstream… I’m not going to put a tattoo of Ed Sheeran on my neck,” to which Seann asked: “You like Ed Sheeran?” And Matt replied: “Love him, yeah… and I’m from Suffolk as well.”

Matt then started singing an Ed Sheeran song: “You between my arms… bare foot on the grass… don’t get me singing… listening to my favourite song…… What’s it called? Perfect? I love it.”

Viewers flocked to social media after they watched the moment. One person wrote:""I never thought id be sat in my dressing gown listening to Matt Hancock sing Ed Sheeran on I’m a celebrity but here I am."

And another simply said: "I cannot believe I am witnessing Matt Hancock on I’m a celebrity. 2022 really be a madness."
