Babatúndé Aléshé redeemed himself in style by winning maximum stars in the latest I'm a Celeb Bushtucker trial.
Before going into camp he had struggled in the first challenge he was faced with on Sunday's show, The Ledge, and quit before he really got started.
Speaking to Ant and Dec, Babatúndé joked about why the public picked him: “Because they’re evil. I clearly proved to them that I don’t like heights.”
Explaining the trial Ant said: “This is Horrifying Heights. All you have to do is make your way around collecting the stars as you go along.”
"As you can see Babatúndé, it's 100ft in the air. Once you collect a star, all you have to do is clip it to yourself.
"Every star you collect is worth a meal for camp. The last star, you have to get, will require a leap of faith.”
The trial began during a heavy rain storm and Babatúndé said to himself: “Come on bro, you can do this.”
As he continued with the trial, working his way higher up the structure and successfully collecting stars as he went, comedian Babatunde admitted: “I’m proud of myself.”
Host Ant said: “I’m proud of you.”
Making his way to the top level, with just 10 seconds to go Babatúndé reached out and grabbed the final star. But he was told by Ant he had to step off the ledge for it to count – and he made the final leap earning himself nine out of nine stars.
Afterwards, he told the hosts: “I kept saying to myself, ‘You are crazy, how am I doing this right now?’ That’s all I kept thinking, ‘How am I doing this?’
Viewers were full of praise for Babatunde's effort, with one saying on Twitter : "I take my hat of to Babatunde. I could not have done that. HATE heights.."
Another said: Watching Babatunde in that challenge… I feel like a proud mum... he’s my winner."
A third person said: "Yes Babatunde!!! In that rain as well the fact he did that he should be proud."
Babatunde's campmates were full of praise for him when he returned, with Rugby star Mike Tindall giving him a hug.
Elsewhere, there was tension in the jungle as Boy George accused Loose Women star Charlene White of being 'controlling' when it comes to the kitchen duties in camp.
Speaking to Scarlette Douglas, the singer said: “I just feel like Charlene’s very controlling. She tells you what to do and it really rubs you up the wrong way. I’m struggling with that, but I’ll get over it. It’s fine, she’s very sweet as well so it’s a real contradiction. There’s this controlling side and then there’s this caring side and it confuses me.”
Later, Boy George spoke to Charlene, telling her: “I don’t mind if you tell me what to do but give me some jobs if you’re going to be the boss.”
