I'm a Celeb's Ant & Dec return to speaking Welsh after Wales' World Cup opener

Welsh I'm a Celeb viewers have really missed Ant & Dec greeting fans nightly with 'noswaith dda' since they relocated back to Australia from north Wales. The past two years the ITV show was filmed up at Gwrych Castle near Abergele where Giovanna Fletcher and Danny Miller were crowned winners and each night the Geordie duo would greet people at home in Welsh.

Tonight, November 21, they called back to their time at Gwrych following Wales' World Cup match against USA, welcoming viewers to Monday's installment in Welsh as well as English.

"Hello, good evening, good morning, noswaith dda, on the night that England and Wales played their opening matches," said Dec. Ant went on to make a joke that there was 'screaming and shouting' in camp as Lioness Jill Scott wasn't allowed to watch the England match.

In 2021 and 2020, I'm A Celebrity took place at the beautiful 200-year-old Grade I listed building in the seaside town of Abergele. The series moved to Gwrych Castle in the county of Conwy for two years running due to the pandemic and the "continued" uncertainty around Covid-19 and international travel.

Last week, on November 16, the pair made a cheeky 'dig' at their former camp in the stunning Welsh countryside. Introducing the episode, Ant said: "Also coming up tonight, Moyles boils in the trial, George gets snappy and Seann talks about the time he turned up for work in the wrong place."

Dec replied: "Easily done, we went to a castle in Wales for two years," before quickly adding: "Which we loved."

"Noswaith dda [good evening]," Ant then said looking at the camera, before Dec added again: "We loved it."
