I'm A Celeb fans say Matt Hancock's 'terrifying' laugh will 'haunt them in their sleep'

I'm A Celebrity viewers have reacted to Matt Hancock 's laugh, with some of them teasing on social media that they will be hearing it in nightmares this week.

The politician, 44 - who has been the MP for West Suffolk since 2010 - was a late addition to the ITV show and arrived into the jungle camp during last night's episode.

Unsurprisingly, viewers had a lot to say about his debut. This included a number of them expressing disgust over his laugh - which he showcased on several occasions during his first episode.

It has been dubbed "hideous" and "spine-chilling" by viewers on Twitter recently. Some even said on the platform that they would be hearing his laugh in their nightmares.

"Just catching up on #ImACeleb and what is with that demonic screaming laugh Matt Hancock keeps bursting into?," asked another viewer on social media last night.

Others described Matt's laugh as "hideous," "annoying," "terrifying" and "jarring". It was compared to "nails on a chalkboard" and one viewer wrote: "I can't deal with [it]".

"[His] laugh can get in the bin," wrote one viewer. Whilst another said: "He looks like a roaring lion when he laughs". Another said: "[His] laugh is exactly how I expected it to be".

Matt undertook his first bushtucker trial in last night's episode alongside comedian Seann Walsh, 36. The pair were late arrivals together into the camp in Australia.

The politician will take on his second trial in tonight's episode. He will be seen trapped in a submerged cage, where he must collect stars before the time runs out.

And it may not be the last bushtucker trial that he has to face whilst in the jungle. Some viewers have expressed interest in voting for him to do as many trials as possible.

I'm A Celebrity continues tonight (November 10) on ITV and ITV Hub from 9pm. You can catch up through ITV Hub.
