I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans have reacted to reports that former Health Secretary Matt Hancock will feature on the upcoming series – and many are saying the same thing. The MP has had the Tory whip suspended with immediate effect this morning (November 1) after it emerged he had signed up for the hit ITV reality show set in Australia.
Mr Hancock, who was forced to resign as minister last year after breaking his own Covid lockdown rules by having an affair, is said to be one of two latecomers to the show. He and comedian Seann Walsh will later join the 10 celebrities going into the jungle when the new series begins this Sunday, November 6, according to reports.
I'm A Celeb fans took to social media to react to the sensational news, with many saying they wanted to see Mr Hancock voted to do the infamous eating challenges on the show. The so-called Bushtucker trials have previously featured voted-in celebrities eating pigs brain, fermented tofu, cow's teat, kangaroo penis and crocodile anus.

As social media erupted, West Suffolk Conservative Association deputy chairman (political) Andy Drummond shared a similar sentiment about Mr Hancock, telling Press Association: "I’m looking forward to him eating a kangaroo’s penis. Quote me. You can quote me that."
The whip being suspended means Mr Hancock is effectively expelled from his party and has to sit as an independent. Chief whip Simon Hart said: “Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect."
