I'm A Celeb fans fume as Chris Moyles becomes latest star to leave the jungle

Chris Moyles has become the latest star to leave the I'm A Celebrity camp in a result that has left viewers surprised.

Tensions were high in camp as Ant and Dec revealed that the vote was between Chris and Seann Walsh - but Chris jumped up in delight when his name was called. After hugging his campmates goodbye, Chris joined the hosts in the studio and admitted that he had mixed emotions about leaving the jungle.

"I'm gutted that Matt Hancock is more popular than me - what the bejeezus is going on?" he joked to Ant and Dec, later admitting that he "really struggled" with Matt's presence in the jungle. And many viewers at home shared similar sentiments over the result.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Who the F is voting for Matt Hancock, reveal yourselves."

"What's wrong with this country," another viewer asked.

A third added: "Chris Moyles asked Ant & Dec how is Matt Hancock still in there - most of us are thinking that."

"Chris Moyles is genuinely hilarious, camp is gonna be dead without him," another fan lamented. But other viewers were happy to see the presenter voted out. "So glad Chris has gone - Seann to go next," one fan demanded.

It comes after comedian Babatunde Aleshe departed the jungle on Wednesday night, in a result which caused uproar among viewers at home on Wednesday night. Some fans threatened to "boycott" the series after Babatunde's exit, while others demanded an "inquiry" into the public vote.

Loose Women star Charlene White was the first to be voted out of camp last weekend, followed by A Place In The Sun's Scarlette Douglas, and then Coronation Street 's Sue Cleaver, before Boy George was evicted in Tuesday's episode. The Culture Club icon posted a defiant message to fans on Twitter shortly after being voted out of camp, writing: "Eating pizza and watching FIFA World Cup replay after a lovely long shower.

"Thanks for all the amazing messages. The love always transcends the negativity. This b*tch still gives great headline. I have seen them all and laughed heartily!" he added.

There are now just five stars left in the jungle: Jill Scott, Owen Warner, Seann Walsh, Mike Tindall and Matt Hancock. The king or queen of the jungle will be crowned during a bumper episode on Sunday 27 November.

Lioness legend Jill and Hollyoaks star Owen are said to be battling it out to win this year's series as the two fan favourites with just days left in the jungle. Sunderland hero Jill has been dubbed an "icon" and "national treasure" by viewers after showing nerves of steel in the challenges and motivating her fellow campmates.
