A "catfish" has revealed how she takes 20 years off her face in just seconds with her incredible makeup tricks. Patricia Lichtenberger has been sharing her transformations on TikTok since 2016 - and has racked in more than 46,000 views with one of her most recent videos.
In the clip, the 48-year-old skilfully alters her face – with people saying she has gone from "45 to 25" in mere seconds. "[When] I started posting my makeup videos, people called me ugly or would say: 'What’s wrong with your face?'," said Patricia, who is originally from Texas, but living in Kansas.
"They then called me a catfish and I knew what that was, but that wasn’t my mission. I wanted to share my before and after videos because for so long, those words cut so much and you get into depression, until you can finally get up and turn those negative comments into something bittersweet.
"So that day, I decided to make that video to show them.
"So yeah, I guess I am a catfish!"
In the clip, she shows herself completely natural with no makeup or filters.
Then, Patricia swiftly transitions into a full face of makeup, including black eyeliner, shaped brows using a shading pencil, and a hot pink lipstick - with her hair tied in an updo.
Her use of bright shades adds a youthful look.
Users have flocked to the comment section to share their reactions, with some people claiming she looks 20 years younger.
One user commented: "45 to 25.”
Someone else added: "Catfishing?"
Another applauded: "That's amazing, that's not a filter?"
"I'm in my 50s - I would love to know what makeup you use?" wrote a fourth user.
"65 to 45 wow," said someone else.
"Holy… say what?" commented another.
Someone else added: “Angelina Jolie?”
The self-proclaimed "Catfish Queen" hopes to show others the difference between natural beauty vs with makeup on in a bid to promote body positivity.
Patricia added: "I’m just me and being weird is ok for me because life is too short when you can just spread some love.
"Words stopped hurting me and my TikTok tribe fans backed me up because they know what I’ve been through.
"There is no such thing as perfect. Let’s be real, we all have skin texture.
"I am who I am because of my fans, and always remember, looks may be deceiving but I am always real."
