Reported Liverpool target Youssoufa Moukoko has admitted he would 'love to stay' at Borussia Dortmund but will need reassurances regarding his place in their plans.
Moukoko, who is currently in Qatar representing Germany in the World Cup, has been of interest to Europe's top clubs with his contract at Dortmund ending in the summer. The Reds are one of several sides thought to be monitoring the situation in preparation of potentially securing one of the world's best young talents for free.
The 18-year-old has not been a guaranteed starter for Dortmund this season but has made a massive impact when backed, with six goals and four assists in just 14 Bundesliga appearances - six of which have come off the bench. And while the teenager has made clear his desire to stay with his current club, he also hinted at a need for clarity from those in charge.

“I feel so comfortable at BVB, I love the club. I’d really love to stay at Borussia Dortmund,” Moukoko told RND. “I want to understand what kind of project and perspective the club will offer me, it’s an important point.”
Despite Moukoko's comments, Dortmund are believed to face a battle to keep their young star if they can not give him assurances over playing time and role within the squad. 90min reported earlier this week that a growing number of clubs believe the teenager is ready to leave.
Discussions over a new deal are thought to have been going on for the best part of a year, and the fact that there is now around six months left on the Cameroon-born stars deal suggests there have been bumps in the road.
The reports also names Liverpool as one of several sides monitoring the young star closely, although Barcelona is thought to be the preferred destination as Moukoko grew up as a fan of the Spanish giants.
