Declan Rice has revealed he wishes he could have been in Istanbul with his dad in 2005 to watch Liverpool beat AC Milan in the Champions League final.
The West Ham captain was named in Gareth Southgate 's 26-man squad to represent England at the World Cup in Qatar as they look to go one better than Euro 2020.
Rice revealed his dad was in Istanbul to witness the dramatic comeback from the Reds as the West Ham man has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the upcoming transfer window.

The 23-year-old is reportedly refusing to sign a new deal to extend his stay with the Hammers with Chelsea and Liverpool rumoured to be battling it out for his services.
Speaking on England's YouTube channel on The Lions Den, Rice was asked which match he would have loved to have been in the crowd for: "I know straight away. My dad was already there but I’d have loved to have gone and watched.
“Istanbul. Liverpool. Champions League final. Imagine being a fan in that situation. Incredible. I’d definitely have gone to that.”
Manchester City's Jack Grealish agreed with Rice's call: “That one would have been unbelievable."
