'I hope Todd Boehly looked Thomas Tuchel in the eye' - Tottenham fans mock Chelsea over sacking

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to Chelsea sacking head coach Thomas Tuchel following the Blues' 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League group stage.

Spurs supporters have been pointing out that Tuchel hasn't been the same since his famous touchline incident with Antonio Conte in Chelsea's 2-2 draw against the Lilywhites at Stamford Bridge last month. Tuchel and Conte clashed both during and after the eventful draw in West London.

Post-match, the German took issue with the fact that Conte didn't make eye contact during their handshake. Tuchel received a one-match touchline ban and a £35,000 fine for his part in the clash.

Since that incident, Chelsea have suffered away defeats at Leeds United, Southampton and Dinamo Zagreb, while they beat Leicester City and West Ham United by narrow margins, with the latter victory arguably coming in fortuitous fashion, with VAR controversy denying the Hammers a last-gasp equaliser.

Here's how Spurs fans on social media reacted to Tuchel's sacking.

@ieuanivett: "Antonio Conte derailed Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea career with one handshake. Sensational."

@nick_davison10: "I hope Todd Boehly looked Tuchel in the eye when he shook his hand as he said goodbye."

@THFCLee_: "Conte is rent-free in Tuchel's head."

@THFC_fan7: "Conte ended Tuchel."

@HandsomeJaxTHFC: "CONTE OWNS TUCHEL."

@Tottenham_Feed: "Antonio Conte was the start of the end for Tuchel. My gaffer."
