I hired a posh wedding guest dress from Hirestreet for £50 which should have cost £291

With wedding and prom season finally here, it can be difficult to find a nice outfit without breaking the bank.

Let's be honest, it's incredibly annoying trying to find something to wear for a special event that doesn't involve ordering 10 different outfits in a crazy panic. I myself am guilty of ordering an abundance of dresses to try and find the right one, only to hate them all and send them straight back in a huff.

Fashion is all about experimenting, and now there's a way we can do that without spending hundreds of pounds to only be left feeling disappointed. Hirestreet allows shoppers to hire outfits from some huge fashion names including Nobody's Child, French Connection, Lavish Alice, Finders Keepers and Talulah for your special occasion.

I managed to find an absolutely stunning Talulah dress originally priced at $350 (£291) and it cost me £50 to hire it and send it back. I never ever thought I'd be going to my friends wedding in a dress that originally cost over £100, and I often dream about wearing luxury brands such as Talulah.

This dress certainly made me feel like a million dollars. It had that sort of 'heavy' feel to it, a feeling you only get with good quality clothes. What really drew me to this dress was the colours, they were absolutely stunning and offered just the right amount of bold without looking too garish.

I felt seriously special in this dress, and the hiring process was incredibly easy to top it all off. The Hirestreet website offers loads of stunning dresses for any occasion, ranging from prices of £15-£50+, and I honestly could've spent hours on there.

All I had to do was select when I wanted my dress to arrive (Hirestreet recommends at least three days before your event) and if you decide to wear the dress, you just remove the attached label. It all comes packaged up with the returns label ready, and after selecting how many days you want to hire it for, you just take it back to your local post office once your time is up.

As much as I didn't want to part from this fabulous dress, I knew it was for the best. It only would've ended up collecting dust in my wardrobe, which is why I think Hirestreet is such an amazing, innovative idea.

I seriously wish something like this existed when I was younger, think of all the money I could've saved on dresses for all those pesky night's out! It's a great sustainable way to look and feel good, without the hefty price tag.

Long story short, I absolutely loved my Talulah Navy Floral Ruffle Midi Dress, and this definitely won't be the last time I use Hirestreet for a special occasion. Visit the Hirestreet website here.
