Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has referred to his time at Anfield as the best in his career - and has hinted that he will retire in the near future.
The ex-Reds stopper spent nine years on Merseyside from 2005-14, during which time he made 394 appearances for the club. Reina was signed by Rafa Benitez from Villarreal, and went on to win three major trophies.
Since leaving Liverpool, Reina has had spells with Napoli, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Aston Villa. The Spaniard has now returned to Villarreal this summer, as he begins to near the end of his career.

Reflecting on a career which has now spanned two decades, Reina has said the time at Liverpool was the pinnacle for him professionally.
“My prime was Liverpool,” Reina told Marca. “From 2005 to 2010, on a sporting level, they were the best years of my life when I performed the best, and the numbers are there.
“I have tried to be competitive throughout my career, in one way or another. I’ve stuck to the course, as they say in golf, as long as I can.”
Reina went on to drop a major hint about potentially retiring from football in the near future, as the 39-year-old prepares for his first season back at Villarreal since signing for Liverpool in 2005.
"Many years have passed, but it is very nice to come back, I think there is no better place to be able to finish and retire from football," said Reina.
"On a sporting level it is an opportunity to continue being at my best. I wanted the return to Spain to be here. My wife has a lot of family and I keep many memories here".
