We're all familiar with the dreaded plane seat rows that have caused heated debate on social media in recent months, as people squabble over the appropriate etiquette when you're sky high.
Screaming children and grumpy passengers wanting to switch seats are the most common complaints, but one woman has shared a new-found nightmare as she had to watch her dad snog his partner throughout a whole flight.
The woman was travelling to a wedding with her dad and step mum when she spotted the two of them 'making out' inappropriately, but her response to the PDA caused a rift with her step mum.
The in-flight affection caused a long-term rift between the woman and her step mum, which has recently boiled over into a heated discussion as the truth was uncovered.

The woman, who remained anonymous, recalled the dreaded flight which happened years ago: "We all took a flight together to a family wedding. I've barley known my step mum for a year at this point and hardly talked or interacted with her since I live out of state.
"This was my first time spending a lot of time around her. All is going well while on this flight. They are seated together a few rows in front of me. I go to use the bathroom at the front of the plane and as I walk back my dad and her are full on making out in their seats. I'm talking like rabid high schoolers making out with tongue every where."
She tapped her dad on the shoulder and told them to stop, arguing it was not appropriate, and they did.
"Now, my dad has let me know that she is so reserved around me all these years is because I made her uncomfortable when I asked them to stop making out on the plane," the daughter explained.
"He said it was really uncalled for and that it made her feel like she can't express her feeling for my dad around me and made her think that I don't approve of their relationship."

In response, many sided with her and agreed that the behaviour of her dad and step mum was not polite or appropriate.
One person wrote: "Completely inappropriate behaviour. Not only were they in public, but you, his daughter was also having to witness these antics."
While another stated: "A full plane is not the place for a snogging session. Nobody wants to watch that."
A third penned: "Regardless I wouldn't want to see that in general if they were my parents or not."
