I got a free £25 Ted Baker set and £48 worth of No7 gifts for free with Boots Christmas deals

Boots has always been a popular place for shoppers to head to at Christmas time.

It's 3 for 2 deal has been running for years and even Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has been telling shoppers how much they can save with the likes of Boots' No7 The Ultimate Skincare Collection 10-Piece Gift Set, which has now been reduced to £41.

The set is just one of the Star Gifts that are proving particularly popular this year, with 'better than half price' deals on a number of them.

I headed into the store to do some Christmas shopping and see exactly what savings can be made.

I decided to stick with the good old 3 for 2, which includes loads of well known brands like Sanctuary, Soap & Glory, Revolution and Yardley.

It was another No7 gift set that caught my eye - a six-piece set including some of the range's best selling skincare and cosmetics.

And at £30 for The Best of No7 Gift Set, which actually contains products worth a total of £54, it meant a £24 saving.

Buying two of these for gifts meant I'd already saved £48, but because they're part of the three for two offer, it meant my third gift was completely free.

For this I chose the Ted Baker Bathing Collection 6-Piece Gift Set, which would usually cost £25.

The set, which comes inside a bright pink gift box, includes raspberry and orange blossom treats including body wash, body spray, a moisturising sheet mask, hand cream, body lotion and body butter.

All in all it meant a saving of £73 and thankfully an end to my Christmas shopping.
