Roberto Mancini has been reminiscing about the moment Man City secured a first ever Premier League title in the most dramatic fashion thanks to a late Sergio Aguero strike against QPR.
The Argentine's goal meant that City were crowned champions at the expense of rivals Manchester United in the dying seconds of the league campaign.
Mancini, now head coach of the Italian national team, reflected on the day with his former player Micah Richards.
Speaking to Richards for MailOnline, Mancini said: "The first six months, we fought all the way to the last game to get into the Champions League. We lost 1-0 at home to Tottenham.
"Second year, we won the FA Cup and finished third with the same points like Chelsea.
"The third year we won the league. And this Premier League was incredible."
When asked by Richards if he ever thought about the QPR game, the 57-year-old responded: "All the time… I get the goosebumps – one of the best victories ever.
"Someone showed me a clip of the goals recently. I was so emotional seeing it.
"The goal Sergio scored was for every one of us. In the last two minutes, I'm thinking to myself: "we cannot lose this game, we just cannot lose this game." But football is like this."
Manchester City return to competitive action on Saturday when they face Fulham in the FA Cup.
