I found a 'pretty' and 'bold' £17 Matalan dress that 'doesn't crease'

I'm all about bold prints and easy to wear dresses, and after visiting my local Matalan in Bromborough, I found a real gem.

Matalan is known for its affordable clothing that offer versatility and style, as well as homeware. Its vibrant, colourful prints often get praise from shoppers, and it's easy to see why.

To put it bluntly, I'm absolutely terrible at ironing, and will try to avoid it all costs. So when I came across this stunning Green Paisley Crinkle Tie Mini Dress priced at £17, I was chuffed about the no crease material.

Online, the full product description reads: "Look and feel fabulous when the weather is on your side with this pretty paisley print dress. On a crinkle green base, this lovely little number is cut to an Uber flattering mini length and is tailored with floaty short sleeves for a dash of elegance, along with a gorgeous tie detail to the front. Completed with a plunging V-neck, you can easily wear it with sandals, wedges and heels alike."

The first thing I noticed about this dress was of course, the print, which made the dress stand out so proudly in store. It caught my attention very quickly, and I was eager to try it on.

Made from 99% polyester, the crinkle material was surprisingly soft on the dress. My usual size 12 fit like an absolute treat and the dress hung beautifully.

It wasn't too tight, or uncomfortable in any way, and the bold colours really made the dress pop. Granted, the pink and green combination may not be everyone, but I think the two colours go together really well - especially during this time of year.

Although it might be a little too chilly to wear the dress just yet, it would be great for a summer picnic or a trip to the pub. This dress is definitely something you can effortlessly throw on without making too much fuss, and still end up looking put together in the end.

Another bonus about this dress is the fact that you can dress it up or down. It can easily be worn with a pair of glitzy sandals in the summer, or chunky boots/trainers for a more casual vibe.

The material is lovely and light, making it an ideal option for warmer weather, and it doesn't need to be ironed either - which is an absolute blessing if you ask me. That, combined with the tie front, and you've got yourself a winner of a dress from Matalan.
