When you're naming your baby, you want something that will stand them in good stead for the future. A strong name that you love and will cherish forever and that means something to you. It's a really difficult decision, and you will probably have plenty of options to choose from. As such, some parents might not make their final decision until they see the little bundle of joy in front of their very eyes.
Others might be more cautious and ask for advice on their potential monikers before settling. One woman recently took to Reddit to do just this, requesting people's thoughts on which of her baby names were the nicest - and she received some hilarious responses that she probably didn't expect.

She wrote that she'd narrowed the baby names for her son down to three and asked for people's 'impressions or thoughts', and got a little more than she bargained for.
The woman's baby name choices were: "Winston Franklin, Asher Winston, Stratton Easton, Stratton Asher."
People responded offering their advice on the baby names, with one Redditor not holding back at all.
They bluntly compared it to a sex toy, writing: "Asher Franklin. Stratton sounds like a strap-on."
Another said: "I like Asher and Franklin. Winston reminds me of Winston Churchill and Stratton reminds me of Strattera lol."
One helpfully commented: "Stratton makes me think of Stratton Oakmont and The Wolf of Wall Street. I think Asher Franklin flows better than Asher Winston but either of those two would have my vote."
Someone else said: "Not a fan of Stratton or Asher. All or the names sound really preppy to me, but in kind of a stuffy way."
One Redditor said that Winston sounded like the name of an 'old man', commenting: "Not a fan of Stratton or Winston at all. Stratton sounds like Stratton Ski Resort, and Winston is just an old man. Asher Franklin would be the best option out of those names."
Another tried to explain why the combinations weren't working, writing: "All of these combos are a bit awkward. Picking a middle with a different number of syllables would help tremendously.

Winston Franklin - My first thought was that it's a very political-sounding combo. I do like these names separately but not together. NAF of both names having a very similar cadence and ending.
-
Stratton Easton - Again, not a fan of these names together for the same reasons listed above. I also really don't like Stratton. It sounds like a firm.
-
Asher Winston - Asher isn't my favourite name, but this combo is probably the best of your choices. I prefer Franklin as a first name if that's an option."
"I think Winston is such a cool, old-timey name. Just know that most people will think of Winston Churchill", another suggested.
