What is it we say 'it'll be here before we know it', and when it comes to Christmas it couldn't be more true. No matter what plans you make to get ahead of yourself, there always seems to be something you leave until the last minute.
But amid the cost of living crisis, families are no doubt wanting to spread the cost even further this year and for many that means making an early start with the shopping.
Even if you don't have much to spare, there are still plenty of bits and bobs to fill a child's stocking and we've been taking a look at what goodies Primark has for little ones.
From a bath bomb and eye mask, to gloves and some Marvel magnetic bookmarks, we actually ended up with quite a haul.
The cheapest item - a bubble gum fragranced gel face mask - was just 80p, while the most expensive was a paddle brush for £3.50.
The products were dotted about The Trafford Centre store and it was only when we joined the queue (there's always a queue in Primark) that we realised there are rows of tubs filled with more little treats at the side.
The stocking itself wasn't from Primark as they didn't seem to have any in stock. Maybe we are too early for Christmas shopping after all.
Here's the full list of stocking surprises

Obviously your gifts will depend on the age of the child and their interests, but there were lots more small gifts that would be ideal for a stocking.
