Manchester United fans have been venting their frustration after Angel Di Maria scored Argentina's second goal of the World Cup final against France.
Lionel Messi opened the scoring from the penalty spot for Argentina, as the South American side took the lead against France in the 23rd minute. The 2018 champions were put under pressure inside the opening half hour and it did not take long before France found themselves two goals down.
Lionel Scaloni's side added a second in the 36th minute, with Di Maria finishing off a superb passing move. Starting from within their own half, Messi cleverly flicked the ball to launch a devastating counter-attack that saw the former United attacker sweep the ball home unmarked at the back post.

Di Maria left United for Paris Saint-Germain in 2015 after just one season at the club, as the winger failed to find his feet in the Premier League. Di Maria is regarded by many as one of the worst signings in the club's history, but he has since gone on to enjoy a stellar stint at PSG before moving to Juventus.
As Di Maria's shot hit the back of the net, it did not take long before United fans took to social media to vent their frustration, as they showed their anger at the Argentina star performing at a level that he never managed to reach at Old Trafford.
