Manchester City overcame a bout of injury issues to defeat Watford 5-1 on Saturday, but it doesn't look like the situation is going to get any easier for Pep Guardiola any time soon.
Kyle Walker and John Stones were both absent from City's matchday squad against the Hornets, and after the game Guardiola hinted that both could be in a race against time to be fit for the Champions League semi-final first leg clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
"I don't know if Kyle [Walker] will arrive and John [Stones] will be difficult too," the City boss admitted when questioned on the defenders' fitness. With Joao Cancelo suspended, City might have to face the 13-time European champions without any of their three main right-back options.

The situation caused Guardiola to joke that he might have to play one of his attackers at full-back. On Twitter, City fans have been trying to figure out how Pep will address the issue:
@amirtamboli8: Atletico broke us
@JrJrjuniorsjr1: I'm gonna have to watch Grealish play rwb in a champions league semi final ffs
@canceloimpact: Dias at RB?
@Pepology: Painnn
@Omzlovesciteh: Pep playing mind games I think stones will be fine.
@SheikhManCity08: Fernandinho at right-back is gonna be fun to watch.
