Former Liverpool star Danny Murphy has sent a blunt message to Jurgen Klopp about his team selections.
The Reds are currently in 10th place in the Premier League, after their defeat to Wolves at the weekend. That 3-0 loss at Molineux has left Liverpool 11 points adrift of the top-four places.
For the trip to Wolves, Klopp opted to start a midfield trio of Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita and Stefan Bajcetic. This meant that club captain Jordan Henderson was absent from the starting line-up for a fourth straight match in all competitions.

Henderson’s last start came in the 3-0 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League on January 14. And now Murphy has explained why he thinks Klopp is making a mistake by not starting the Reds skipper
Murphy says that, regardless of how Henderson is performing in training, the 32-year-old should be a regular starter for Liverpool at the moment.
“I’m still surprised that every time I see a Liverpool team sheet,” Murphy told talkSPORT. “I don’t see them train, but I don’t care how he is training, Henderson plays every game for me, still.
“He is the heartbeat of the midfield, he’s still got the legs to do it, and for some reason, he [Klopp] keeps leaving him out.
“I know Fabinho has had a tough time, but when you've got players who have done two or three years of brilliant seasons for you, being consistent, allow them to go through their bad spell and put them back in.”
