'I dedicated my wedding to Taylor Swift - and even mentioned her in my vows'

Preparing for your wedding day is undeniably stressful - from sorting out a venue, picking an outfit, and even choosing a playlist of songs. Alongside prepping the events of the special day, Victoria Garrick Browne took one step further by dedicating her day to her idol Taylor Swift.

The fan shared a video to popular video-streaming service TikTok, documenting the hidden treasures throughout her day as nothing meant true love more to Victoria than the Shake It Off singer. Admitting she's a huge Swiftie, the TikToker explained the things she put in place for her wedding - from mentioning the star in her vows to even the date she chose.

Captioning the post of her viral video, which has surpassed 1.8 million views since posting, she wrote: "It's giving obsessed but also appropriately understated."

Victoria explained: "If you know me you know I love Taylor Swift, and I got married just a few weeks ago, and this is everything that I did to honour the Queen."

"First of all, I did in fact get married on the most Swiftie date of all time. In my heart, I truly don't believe there's a more Taylor Swift date than August 13th 2022."

The day has become highly recognised amongst Swifties as a date to honour the star. It's also the date that Taylor released her hit single We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together in 2012.

In addition, Victoria's year of marriage also represents another song for the singer - 22.

She continued: "Next up is the venue, it was very inspired by the Love Story fairytale music video - that was a big reason why I loved Taylor Swift growing up as well.

"I just believed in love like that, so I really wanted the venue and the vibe to feel just like that."

The TikToker continued: "The only music allowed in my bridal suite was Taylor Swift and I'm not even joking with you.

"We tried to switch it up at one point because the girls were like 'Vic come on' and then I got so anxious. I was like, 'I'm sorry, back to Taylor Swift'.

"I also named dropped Taylor Swift in my vows, my bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Love Story, and our first dance song was Lover," she added.

The signs didn't stop there as Victoria's marriage featured a quirky alternative to a typical guest book - a phone for guests to leave voicemails.

Whilst it doesn't initially seem Taylor Swift themed, the sign read, "The Brownes can't come to the phone right now" - a hidden gesture to Taylor's son Look What You Made Me Do.

The bride explains: "And our guest book was after the tone - so excited about it as people left us voicemails! We're waiting to get it back, and it's going to be amazing."
