Rita Ora has opened up about her desire to start a family with husband Taika Waititi.
The singer, 32, who tied the knot with the film director, 48, in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles in August 2022, said she would love to have a baby with the New Zealand native “when the time is right”.
Getting candid on an upcoming episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls: The Challenge, she said: “I’d love to have children of course when the time is right. Fingers crossed.”
The U and I hit-maker also revealed that she has vowed to do more in order to “protect” her private life in the future.
She explained: “Privacy, it has been an up-and-down battle. I have lived my life in the public eye for about a decade but I have learnt a lot with my personal life and my career.
“With the wedding we decided to keep it super close as we felt like it was important for us. That was something I had never done.
“I have always shared as I thought it was my job to share as I am a public figure, but you don’t have to.”
Taika Waititi was previously married to film producer Chelsea Winstanley and they have two daughters together, Te HinekÄhu, 11, and Matewa Kiritapu, seven.
The former couple were married for seven years, but split in 2018.
