Cenk Tosun has revealed he has no regrets over his move to Everton and stands by his decision to join the club back in 2018.
The Turkish striker joined the Blues in a deal worth £27million close to five years ago, a move which was bizarrely announced during half-time of an FA Cup third round defeat away at Liverpool.
Tosun's time on Merseyside cannot be considered a success, highlighted by the fact he scored just 11 times in 61 appearances for the club, but significant injury issues more than played their part in the player failing to develop any rhythm. Loaned to Crystal Palace and Besiktas during his four-year stay, the 31-year-old returned to the latter on a permanent basis this summer upon the expiration of his Everton contract.

Now back at the club where he made his name prior to joining the Toffees, Tosun has scored four times in 12 outings for his current employers while featuring alongside none other than Dele Alli.
Opening up on his time at Everton during a recent interview, he has insisted he enjoyed his time in England and made the correct decision at the time to sign for the Blues.
“I didn’t have much trouble in England because my English was good It is a country similar to Germany, there were not many difficulties," he told A Spor via Sporx.
"I cannot say ‘I wish I had not gone to England’. My dream was the Premier League. Maybe it was not the right league. It would have been different if I went to Spain.
"But my childhood dream was the Premier League. I had successful periods. I had injuries. I had good experiences in 4.5 years. If we turned back time, I would go again."
