Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has moved to pour cold water on claims that Liverpool-linked striker Kylian Mbappe is unhappy at the Ligue 1 champions.
In the hours leading up to their Champions League showdown with Benfica, it had emerged that the highly-rated Frenchman has yet again become unhappy in the French capital.
According to reports, despite the 23-year-old signing an eye-watering extension at the Parc des Princes, he has grown unhappy and is eyeing an exit in January.

Real Madrid appeared to be in pole position to make the high-profile acquisition but at the 11th hour, Mbappe turned his back on Florentino Perez and committed his immediate future to playing in France's top-flight.
PSG Sporting Director Luis Campos denied claims of unhappiness ahead of Tuesday's draw against Benfica, in which Mbappe fired in the opener.
Last night, defender Sergio Ramos is the latest representative of the French giants to deny the latest speculation. He said: "The only thing I can tell you is that I am friends with Kylian, he is very happy here.
"I don’t believe in rumours, we are focused on our work, we don’t read the newspapers.
In another interview with ESPN, the 36-year-old added: "The news around us even surprises us sometimes. I hope he will be here for many years."
Developments on Tuesday saw links with Liverpool reignited. Mbappe previously admitted that he had held talks over a move to Anfield during his time with AS Monaco.
"We talked a little bit," said Mbappe. "I talked to Liverpool because it's the favourite club of my mum. My mum loves Liverpool. I don't know why, you will have to ask her! It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club."
