Mohamed Salah has refused to throw in the towel in this season's title race after firing Liverpool to victory over Manchester City.
Salah’s stunning second-half goal saw Liverpool beat Pep Guardiola’s side at Anfield. The goal came with 15 minutes of normal time remaining.
The victory moves Liverpool up to eighth in the table, 14 points behind leaders Arsenal. And even though Jurgen Klopp dismissed the Reds' chances of winning the title this season, Salah isn’t giving up hope of landing the Premier League crown.

"We don't have to think about the title at the moment, of course personally I love to play always for a title,” he told Sky Sports post-match. "In my head I am going to fight for it, but we need to focus more and take one game at a time.
"We don't have to feel more pressure that there is still a gap between us and first and second but of course we are going to play for a title.
"As players and a team, we should be in a better position, the players are excited to win and that gives us a good push for the next games."
Alisson Becker in the Liverpool goal launched the ball forward and Salah spun Joao Cancelo with his first touch to go clean through on goal. He then made no mistake, slotting the ball into the bottom left corner of the net.
“I’m not worried when there’s chances, if I miss it’s fine, just like in my mind it’s going to come again,” he said on his goal and his earlier missed chance.
“I worry when there’s no chances but today, you can see when I missed the first one I was calm because I knew another would come so I managed to score the second one.”
Before he added: “Hopefully it gives us more confidence. We should start winning games because over the last few weeks you saw we were not at our best. We started from last game and this game so we need to carry on.”
While Virgil van Dijk, speaking alongside Salah, believes his side showed a lot of fight to come away with all three points and hailed the atmosphere inside Anfield.
He said: "It takes a lot to get the three points. It was always going to be very intense. First half I think we played quite well and we didn't give much away.
"Second half we had to defend a bit more but we won and that is the most important thing. For both sides it is a lot of running, a lot of communication and who wanted it more. We showed a lot of fight.
"If you drop a slight percentage they will punish you. It was important to get the clean sheet."
Before he added on the atmosphere, saying: "It is always like that. When certain things happen in the game it can add fuel to the fire in a positive way for us.
“They [the crowd] played a big part and that is what we need for the rest of the season, especially after a difficult start."
