A court order has shut down a Hyde Park party house with a ban on visitors and tenants to be kicked out.
The Leeds Anti-Social Behaviour Team were called to the house in Brudenell Mount in Hyde Park after the house party spilled into the street, causing a flood of complaints from residents.
Council officials have now secured a closure order in court that bans all visitors to the property for the next six weeks, until the tenants are evicted. Anyone who breaches the order could be charged with a criminal offence.
The Leeds City Council team tweeted: "After a recent serious incident of ASB where a large house party on Brudenell Mount LS6 spilled out onto the street with a large number of revellers causing significant nuisance to residents & the community we've been granted a closure order at court.
"This prevents visitors to the property for a further 6 weeks until the tenants move out. Anyone who breaches the order commits a criminal offence."
Residents in Hyde Park have previously hit out at noisy student parties in the area keeping them awake at all hours of the night.
