Hurricane Milton Prompts Curfews In Florida Counties

As Hurricane Milton approaches Florida, several cities and counties are taking precautionary measures by implementing curfews to ensure the safety of residents. Here is a list of areas that have announced curfews ahead of the storm:

  • Flagler County: A curfew will be in effect from Wednesday at 7 p.m. until Thursday at 7 a.m.
  • Fort Myers Beach: The island will be under a 24-hour daily general curfew starting Tuesday night at 10 p.m.
  • Naples: A vehicle curfew will be enforced starting Wednesday at 4 p.m.
  • Sanibel: The island in Lee County will have a curfew beginning at 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • Volusia County: A curfew will be in place from Wednesday at 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Thursday.

These curfews are being put in place to limit unnecessary travel and ensure that residents remain indoors during the potentially dangerous weather conditions brought on by Hurricane Milton. Fort Myers Beach: 24-hour curfew starting Tuesday 10 p.m.
