A federal jury has convicted Hunter Biden on all three federal felony gun charges he faced, finding him in violation of laws designed to prevent drug addicts from owning firearms. This marks the first time a president's immediate family member has been found guilty of a crime during their father's term in office, although the offenses occurred before Joe Biden assumed the presidency.

If sentenced to the maximum penalties, Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000. However, as a first-time offender, it is likely that his actual sentence will be less severe than the maximum allowed by law.
