Hunt is on to find vandals who have been trashing vehicles in Renfrewshire village

Vehicles are being targeted by reckless vandals in a Renfrewshire village, prompting officers in the area to appeal to the public for help identifying them.

Police say numerous vehicles in Kilbarchan were damaged by thoughtless louts during the early hours of Monday, July 11.

They want residents in the Troubridge Avenue, Ladysmith Avenue, Easwald Bank and Barrhill Crescent areas to think back and see if they can help identify those responsible for causing the damage.

Officers want residents to check any CCTV cameras they might have and contact Johnstone Police Office on 101 quoting incident number 0709 of July, 11.
