The hunt is on for a colourful suspected burglar who is accused of breaking into a home wearing a bright blue dinosaur onesie.
Police have released bizarre CCTV footage after the robbery in Nashville, Tennessee, US.
The man's outfit even had a long tail attached as his disguise was brutally mocked online.
His costume also had soft spikes, in addition to the black gloves he wore while allegedly entering the property. According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the suspect broke in on January 23.
But he didn’t zip the onesie up all the way, which allowed a security camera at the property to capture his face.
Doorbell camera video shows the suspect emerging from a car with a bag in his hand.
He is also seen wearing a face mask hanging from one ear as he approached the door.
A woman walking her dog alerted police to what was going on.
She saw the home’s garage door wide open - and the force swung into action.
After alerting the owners, who were away for a few days, they swiftly took the footage and launched an appeal.
“The residents were out of town,” police said. “Officers were then alerted to the vehicle break-in on Bowling Avenue.”
The suspect is described as “a young black man” who is around 6 feet tall.
The police's hunt went viral after they took to social media to try and trace the culprit.
Video of the suspect has been viewed thousands of times on Facebook since police made public the CCTV footage of the man outside the property.
Users were predictably quick to poke fun at the suspect.
One wrote: "If I see Barney I'll ask his blue brother to get in touch."
Another posted: “You can’t make this stuff up."
A third person said: "This is def a candidate for the world's worst robbers it's bright blue!"
