But sometimes, we're forced to face the struggle head-on.
One woman who was trying to cure her hangover with a faithful takeaway has been publicly exposed in the most unusual way, and social media users have been quick to compare her appearance to a rather unusual celebrity.

After curiously browsing on Google Maps one day, the young woman, who posts under the handle @xmandahx on TikTok, stumbled across multiple photos of herself on the platform.
Posting the hilarious snaps onto TikTok, she admits to being hungover when the satellite images were taken - and it's safe to say she wasn't prepared to be photographed.
The photos show the woman wearing a lilac coloured tracksuit paired with fluffy slippers and socks, a signature outfit for anyone battling a hangover.
Standing outside on a street, the TikTok user looks rather sheepish while holding a carrier bag full of food, as the caption on the clip reads: "Finding myself on Google Maps collecting a takeaway".
The woman's face is blurred in the photos (this is standard procedure when people are caught in Google Maps imagery) but she instantly recognised herself in the snaps and took to the app to share the hilarious ordeal.
TikTok users have been left in stitches over the hungover blunder, and have not held back in their savage responses.
Far from offering sympathy over the unprovoked snapshots, many commenters are questioning the woman's 'hunched' posture, while others are asking why she is standing idly in the street when her trusty takeaway is already in hand.
One said: "why are you lingering? you already got the takeaway in ur hand," while another added "you look like you're just talking to yourself and no one is there, totally lost".
But the brutal replies don't stop there, as some people have been comparing the young woman's appearance to Ozzy Osbourne.
One commenter said that the photos were "giving me Ozzy Osbourne shuffling around the house in slippers looking for their cat."
Another agreed: "Lmfaooo! I thought you were Ozzy for a long sec".
Other TikTok users were close to tears at the hungover saga, and couldn't believe the woman's bad luck. One wrote: "When you go out in slippers hoping that not even the neighbours that you don’t ever know will see you, BOOM Google drives by."
Questioning why the young woman decided to 'linger' and 'ponder' for so long, one person said: "Did ya watch the driver go all the way back to the restaurant before you decided to move?!?!"
The viral video, which has amassed more than 133,000 likes so far, even caught the attention of TikTok's own profile, as the team commented: "Ok this is the funniest thing" with a laughing emoji.
