Hundreds of homes have been left without electricity after a power cut in one part of Merseyside.
People living in Huyton have been hit by the power outage which occurred at around 9am this morning (January 30). SP Energy Networks said it had no advance warning of the power cut and engineers are now working on site to resolve the issue.
Power is expected to be restored by 12.15pm. The postcodes affected are: L361TA, L361TG, L367RN, L367UW, L367XJ, L367XQ, L367YP

SP Energy Networks said in a statement: "There is a power cut affecting the L36 postcode area of Liverpool. We had no advance warning of this and first became aware of it at 9.08AM.
"Our engineers have arrived on site and will work to restore your electricity supply as quickly and as safely as possible. We expect the power to be restored by 12.15PM.
"The latest updates can be found on our website www.spenergynetworks.co.uk. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
