An investigation has been launched after around 200 fish were found dead in a Glasgow loch.
Environmental agency SEPA stepped in after locals found a large number of dead fish in Hogganfield Loch on Thursday.
So far it's believed that the dead fish have come from a culvert that flows in to the loch from Frankfield Loch nearby, Glasgow Live reports.
It's understood the dead fish are of the Common roach species.
SEPA is currently investigating the incident while Glasgow City Council it will help with investigations.
A spokesperson for the council told Glasgow Live: "We are concerned about the circumstances that have led to a large number of fish being found dead in Hogganfield Loch.
"The environmental protection agency SEPA is investigating this incident and we will do what we can to support them.
