Hundreds of locals have gathered at the Scottish Parliament in protest of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's arrest.
A large number of people in Edinburgh's Pakistani community came down to the Scottish Parliament and Pakistani Consulate in protest of what they are calling an "unlawful" arrest.
Pictures show crowds holding Pakistani flags and many holding a green and red flag which is the Pakistani Movement for Justice flag.

The protest was organised by Bashir Hussain, Zara Hussain, and Fakhar Iqbal and several speakers made speeches outside the parliament.
Imran Khan can be held for questioning for eight days, a court has ruled, a day after the country’s opposition leader was dragged from a courtroom and arrested.
The 70-year-old politician, who lost power last year, is the seventh former Prime Minister to be arrested in Pakistan.

His dramatic arrest on Tuesday deepened the political turmoil and sparked violent demonstrations across Pakistan. and in places around the UK including Edinburgh.
